The project brief led us to design an open space kitchen, living and dining space at the rear of this Edwardian family home, where the owners enjoy receiving guests, as well as enjoying it as the heart of their daily life. Relocating the existing bathroom and creating a minimal rear-side extension allowed for a free-flowing and illuminated space; and a combination of warm, natural vertical surfaces and white terrazzo floors were used as a material palette.
